Santa Fe, New Mexico

Our trip to Santa Fe consisted of two main aspects: Old Town Santa Fe and Bonanza Creek Ranch. Each place was very unique and offered an experience unlike anything I had ever seen before.

We took the Turquoise Trail route from Albuquerque to Old Town Santa Fe. The view was very pretty, and we were even able to see a few jackrabbits.

Old Town Santa Fe was absolutely beautiful, and the architecture made us feel as though we were in another country.

I recommend arriving as early as possible due to the heat and the traffic. Be aware – bathrooms are scarce and the shops are very expensive. For more for affordable places near by, check out my review of Albuquerque.

This building reminded me of the Flintstones
These peppers were hanging everwhere!

I recommend allowing 2 hours to tour the area and take pictures. You can even enter the pretty church!

After exploring the downtown area, the next stop was a film set location also know as Bonanza Creek Ranch.
