Bryce Canyon has multiple beautiful stops winding up the 18-mile southern drive towards the highest peak, Rainbow Point at 9115 feet. This canyon is known for its red rock and hoodoos, which are uneven rock pillars.
Each stop has gorgeous, mind-boggling views so make sure to take in as many scenic overlooks as possible or even take in a day hike if you have the time.
We used our Annual Park Pass to visit this park so no payment was required upon entering.
Also, May is the absolute perfect time to visit this park (unless you are wanting to see the hoodoos layered in snow).

Leaving Bryce Canyon, we headed south towards Flagstaff, Arizona to spend the night. However, we had no idea the adventure that awaited us at the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
