Utah’s Most Spectacular National Park:

Zion National Park is absolutely incredible and there is so much to enjoy. Major attractions include The Pa’rus Trail, The Narrows, Angel’s Landing, and Emerald Pool Trails.

Please be aware a reservation is required to visit The Narrows. By the time we realized a reservation was required, all of the slots were filled.

If you’re wanting to see the spectacular views without hiking, I recommend The Pa’rus Trail and possibly The Narrows. If you’re wanting some adrenaline rushing hikes, I recommend staying an extra day or two and venturing on Angel’s Landing.

We arrived early in the morning and journeyed The Pa’rus Trail, a very easy, paved road with spectacular views. Because we arrived so early in the morning, we mostly had the path to ourselves.

I absolutely loved the beautiful red rock, Fremont Cottonwood trees, Rabbitbrush shrubs, and mule deer.

When we first entered the trail, I noticed many campers. How amazing would it be to camp under the stars with such an amazing view? Such a great idea for a future trip.

Most of the path was empty, peaceful, and quiet – one of the major perks of arriving early.

My favorite part of Zion was the drive leaving the park heading towards Bryce Canyon. I could not even comprehend the views.

These views are why I have listed Zion National Park as my favorite park of all time.

But be aware, these views are not for the faint of heart. As you can see below, there are limited guard rails and a few tunnels through the mountains.

This was the only guard rail on the ride.

Despite the lack of guard rails, this drive was the most spectacular journey I’ve ever had the chance to experience.

It’s definitely something you will not want to miss – especially if you don’t have time to go on one of the major hikes.

Leaving Zion we headed to another spectacular national park, Bryce Canyon.
