The first stop on our roadtrip was exploring the beautiful city of Sedona – and it was the perfect location to get us pumped for the rest of the trip.
The entire city was mesmerizing. The mediterranean homes were encased with green Italian Cypress trees and were showcased perfectly next to the red rocks and blue sky.
Truly one of those places that feels like another world.
Sedona’s main attractions include the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Red Rock State Park, and the Cathedral Rock Trail.
The park is free to visit (other than $5 parking). It’s the perfect place to spend hours or even days.

This city is intertwined with all things I love about the out west – red rock, beautiful pine trees, and mountains.

No matter if you have 10 days, 10 hours, or 10 minutes – Sedona is a must-see attraction and one of those places you will truly never forget.
I recommend having at least 2-3 hours to truly enjoy the city. It would be the perfect destination for a picnic lunch, afternoon hike, or even a weekend getaway!
After leaving Sedona, we headed towards Flagstaff. There we ate delicious Mexican food and stayed the night with anticipation for the next day ahead.
