This little gem is the best kept secret in Santa Fe! We absolutely loved visiting this unique attraction.

Bonanza Creek Ranch was the film location of many well-known movies including Silverado, Lonesome Dove, and more.

For $50 a person, we were able to take a tour of multiple locations and walk along the paths of famous celebrities like Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Costner, Alec Baldwin, and more.

Call in advance to make a reservation. Jack Caffrey is the perfect tour guide – he not only showed us the facility, but he shared personal stories of being on the sets and an actor himself! His stories truly made the locations come to life!

We were so thankful they accepted our last minute reservation. In fact, we were the only ones on tour so we had the whole facility to ourselves!

Tip: Do not go by GPS, because it will take you to the correct road but the wrong entrance. Call the number to get specific directions.

The first stop was the prison! This was so unique. Just watch out for the rattlesnakes!

After leaving the prison, we headed to the little western village – our favorite part of the attraction!

We even got to enter a saloon!

From the church, we went through several small little villages and this barn!

We absolutely loved our time at Bonanza Creek Ranch. It was truly unlike anything we had ever experienced.

I recommend taking this tour for yourself if you love westerns or famous movie sets.
